Air Export Specialist

Our client, a well-established and highly regarded international freight forwarder in Chicago is looking to add an experienced Air Export Specialist to its operations team. On Offer Competitive salary reflective of experience with comprehensive benefits package Genuine opportunities to grow and progress Commission potential for internal sales referrals Main Purpose of the Air Export Specialist You’ll take responsibility for the full life cycle of international air export shipments within a fast paced environment, ensuring everything is handled accurately, efficiently, and in line with industry standards. Strong operational awareness and familiarity with CargoWise will be valuable in this position. Duties and Responsibilities Manage air export shipments from booking through to final delivery Prepare and check all export documentation, including AWBs, commercial invoices, and AES filings Ensure compliance with customer requirements, TSA rules, airline procedures, and international regulations Monitor shipment progress and resolve issues before they elevate Communicate clearly with customers, airliness, overseas partners, truckers, and internal teams Maintain accurate data and records within CargoWise Assist with routing decisions and provide operational support where needed Keep shipment files organized and compliant Contribute to a smooth, efficient operations workflow Proven experience in air export operations within freight forwarding Strong understanding of air freight processes and export documentation CargoWise experience is highly preferred Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑moving environment Confident communicator with solid problem‑solving ability IATA or Hazmat certification is an advantage For further details, please contact Willis Global - a specialist Recruitment Consultancy for the Supply Chain & Logistics sector. #J-18808-Ljbffr
