The Field Service Technician supports chemical applications at Graphic Packaging Inc.’s Waco Recycled Paperboard Facility, focusing on enhancing paper quality and managing water treatment chemicals. This role balances field service duties with laboratory and office testing to optimize system performance and operational efficiency.

 

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment repairs and maintenance onsite
• Collect field samples and operational data consistently
• Deliver and transfer chemicals safely and efficiently
• Conduct wet chemistry laboratory testing and analysis
• Enter and manage data using Microsoft Excel and databases
• Collaborate with customer personnel as part of the on-site Consumer Solutions team

 

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in wet chemistry testing methods
• Skills in equipment maintenance and repair
• Experience with Microsoft Excel for data collection and reporting
• Knowledge of field sampling techniques
• Understanding of chemical handling safety protocols
