Senior Project Manager

Senior Project Manager for Diversified Automation is a pivotal role within the Operations Department, responsible for overseeing and managing a diverse portfolio of automation projects. This position requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in project management, particularly within the automation industry. The Senior Project Manager will travel approximately 60%. Job Responsibilities Project Planning and Execution: Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of automation projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and operational requirements. Resource Management: Effectively allocate resources, including personnel and budget, to meet project milestones and deliverables Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, external partners, and clients, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues related to project scope, timeline, and budget, and implement proactive measures to mitigate their impact Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control processes to ensure that automation solutions meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to procure necessary materials and services, negotiate contracts, monitor progress and maintain relationships Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project management processes, enhance efficiency, and maximize project outcomes Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and financial records, and generate regular status reports for management review Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle Required Experience and Education Bachelor's Degree – engineering, business, or related field Proven experience successfully managing material handling projects Preferred Skills and Qualifications Advanced proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project) Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field PMP certification, and training related to automation technologies or project management #J-18808-Ljbffr
