Located in baton rouge, LA Salary: $20.00 CDL Class A Driver / Warehouse Associate - Baton Rouge Express Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana (70810) Schedule: Full-Time | Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) & Wednesday (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM) | Potentially OT on Saturdays as needed Pay Rate: $20.00 / hour Position Overview We are looking for an eager, hardworking CDL Class A Driver / Warehouse Associate to join a family-oriented, friendly, and laid-back team in Baton Rouge! In this role, you will split your time between making local deliveries and handling essential warehouse duties, with fantastic opportunities to cross-train and learn new skills like welding, cutting, and heavy machinery operation. Key Responsibilities- Delivery Driving: Operate a local delivery route to transport industrial products-such as pipes, valves, fittings, and flanges (PVF)-safely to clients.
- Warehouse Operations: Pull parts, organize inventory, and occasionally operate a forklift.
- Growth & Cross-Training: Take advantage of opportunities to learn advanced warehouse skills, including welding, cutting, and operating heavy machinery.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and maintain a secure working environment.
- Licensing & Experience:
- Must have previous CDL Class A driving experience.
- Previous warehouse experience/background is required to be considered.
- Forklift certification, OSHA, or NCEER credentials are a big plus (the company is willing to certify the right candidate in these areas!).
- Screenings: Background check (BG), Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, and a 5-panel drug test (5P DT) are required.
- Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull above 75 lbs.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, and climbing stairs/ladders.
- Availability: Must be okay with working Saturdays as needed.
