Located near Bridgewater, MA, this role is designed for a compassionate professional ready to collaborate within a supportive educational environment, serving students at the preschool through 2nd grade level. Your expertise will be key in helping young learners thrive academically, socially, and emotionally throughout the school year.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Massachusetts School Psychologist License required
- Experience working with early childhood and elementary-aged students preferred
- Familiarity with educational assessments, response to intervention, and special education processes
- Strong interpersonal communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff
- Ability to develop and implement intervention plans for a diverse student population
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and psycho-educational evaluations for referred students
- Provide individual and group counseling services
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and family members to support students’ academic and social-emotional growth
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Offer consultation to teachers and families regarding behavioral and academic concerns
- Maintain up-to-date documentation in compliance with state and district standards
