Terrestrial Wildlife Program Manager

As a Terrestrial Wildlife Program Manager based in Mesa, you will lead a team of wildlife specialists in complex field and laboratory studies across Arizona's diverse landscapes. You'll drive strategic planning, oversee budgets and operations, analyze wildlife data, and serve as a subject matter expert on wildlife biology and conservation. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on fieldwork in remote terrain, partnering with state, federal, tribal, and private stakeholders to advance wildlife management and outdoor recreation. Key qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Wildlife Science, Wildlife Management, Biology, Ecology, or closely related field Three years professional experience in fisheries and/or wildlife research/management 2-4 years experience developing, implementing, or overseeing wildlife study plans or management strategies Experience supervising professional or technical staff Experience with budget management and procurement Current, valid state-issued driver's license #J-18808-Ljbffr DGS Office of External Affairs
