What You'll Do

• Provide specialized nursing care within the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, adhering to standards of practice and the Nurse Practice Act
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans using the nursing process
• Effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members to ensure quality care
• Delegates and directs nursing team resources, acting as a leader within the unit
• Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, implementing necessary changes for optimal results
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and hospital policies
• Document all patient interactions accurately and thoroughly

What You Need

• Current Louisiana RN license
• BLS, PALS, and CPI certifications (with certification in clinical specialty preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric or critical care nursing experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt care based on diverse patient populations and needs
