CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. The position is located in Asheville, NC, and operates in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient care and advanced imaging technology.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 800
• Staffing: Varies by shift, day, or week.
• Staff Breakdown:
  • Day Shift – 5 Technologists and a supervisor
  • Evening Shift – 4-5 Technologists and a Radiology Assistant
  • Night Shift – 2-3 Technologists and a Radiology Assistant
• Equipment: GE Optima, 3 GE EVO, GE Revolution, Medrad Injectors
• EMR: Cerner Rad Net, Phillips PAC's

Typical Responsibilities

• Neuro imaging
• Musculoskeletal (MSK) body imaging
• Cardiac imaging
• Pediatric imaging

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in CT Imaging
• Core Skills:
  • Proficiency in all areas of CT Imaging, including diagnostic scans and invasive procedures
  • Experience with trauma and stroke imaging in an emergency department setting
• Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with GE imaging systems
  • Invasive CT and cardiac imaging skills
  • Venipuncture abilities

Certifications

• ARRT (R) certification is required.

Scrub color/attire: Black

Work Schedule

• Evening shift: 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM, Monday to Thursday
• Potential weekend shifts and possible rotation to different shifts.

On-Call Requirements

Potential for call approximately 12 hours per month.
