This highly dynamic team continually introduces new technology and techniques in the most advanced programs at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. The leader supervises a staff of 8 direct reports and 21 employees. The leaders will ensure adequate staffing, training, and personnel development. The majority of the team supports first shift operations though support is provided 24/7. The position oversees and proactively manages X-ray, CT, UT and other NDI equipment. Heavy involvement in capital request development and procurement. Develops and supports external contract development and implementation as appropriate. Manages travel of employees to support NDI needs at multiple locations. Creates Basis of Estimates (BOE) for contracts and supports negotiations through award of contract. Responsible for budgetary tracking and adherence. Will lead discussions and issue resolution between Engineering/Procurement/Production and other Enterprise organizations. Creates and conducts presentations to top levels of management for the Palmdale site.Must be a US Citizen.
