Remote Senior Backend/Blockchain Engineer - Realio

Job Title : Senior Backend Software Engineer Location : New York, US Type : Full-Time About the Company : Realio is an end-to-end, blockchain-based SaaS platform for the issuance, investment, compliance, and life-cycle management of digital assets. Realio combines access to a decentralized (P2P) exchange with the features of a sophisticated issuance/investment platform to merge enterprise-grade blockchain solutions with institutional-quality investment vehicles. The platform satisfies the need for stringent securities regulations while allowing uniquely democratized access to investment products normally reserved for a select subset of institutional investors. Realio is developing and owns the rights to the Realio Issuance and Investment Platform, the Realio Network (which is open-source), Districts (a real-world themed metaverse project), and the Freehold Wallet app (a forthcoming non-custodial, multi-chain DeFi wallet app built on Realio's blockchain infrastructure). Job Description: We are looking for an exceptionally strong senior backend engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should be agile, capable of working across the full technology stack, and be a jack of all trades. They should be able to work on APIs, DevOps, trading systems, fix UI bugs, architect solutions and have knowledge of blockchain technology. The Realio Dev team currently uses Python, GoLang, and Javascript internally. Responsibilities and Duties: Lead the design and development of features for the Realio blockchain infrastructure Design, develop and maintain our existing service APIs in Python, Javascript, and GoLang Contribute to the Realio Network blockchain codebase both in research and development Collaborate with other team members in a fast-paced startup environment Contribute readable, well-tested, and well-documented code Participate in technical discussions on issues and code reviews on pull requests Be a part of the loop between writing specifications and implementation Work with a variety of datastores, including PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Redis Be part of the organization's DevOps culture. We use Kubernetes for container orchestration Requirements: 7+ years of software engineering experience Self-starter, proactive in resolving issues and removing roadblocks Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Ability to work in a cross-functional small startup environment Adherence to the software engineering best practices Willingness to learn and improve Excellent project and time management skills and ability to work independently Nice-to-haves: Exposure to the EVM/Solidity Development, Web3, and Blockchain environments Experience with cloud technologies (Digital Ocean, AWS) Experience with the Cosmos SDK Benefits: We offer competitive salary packages and benefits to attract and retain the best talent.
