Software Engineering/Development: CI/CD DevOps EngineerWe are seeking a CI/CD DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines that support modern software development practices. This role is critical in ensuring fast, reliable, and secure delivery of applications across environments. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in DevOps principles, automation, cloud infrastructure, and modern CI/CD tooling who possess strong problem-solving capabilities.Job Description: Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for multiple applications and servicesAutomate build, test, and deployment processes to improve speed and reliabilityIntegrate automated testing, security scanning, and monitoring into pipelinesImplement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation for deployment on local infrastructureEnsure scalability, resilience, and security of environmentsPartner with developers, QA engineers, and system administrators to streamline delivery workflowsProvide guidance and support for troubleshooting pipeline issues and deployment failures.Champion DevOps best practices across teams as well as track performance metrics and optimize processes for efficiencyImplement observability solutions for build and deployment pipelinesStay current with emerging DevOps tools and practices to drive innovationCore Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, equivalent education and/or experience3+ years of experience in DevOps, build/release engineering, or software automationDemonstrated experience with CI/CD tools for instance Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CIProficiency in scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, Groovy, etc.Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologiesStrong collaboration and communication skills, both verbal and writtenDesired: Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)Experience with local platforms (Apache, PHP, MSSQL)Canfield Scientific, Inc. is a core imaging lab providing custom photographic systems, image monitoring, and centralized analysis services for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and cosmetics industries supporting global clinical trials providing primary endpoint data and supporting documentation. The anticipated salary range for the position is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 annually. This is dependent upon consideration of multiple factors when determining a base salary such as a candidate’s experience, education, and current market conditions.
