Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specialized in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to join our neurosurgical unit on a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team caring for a diverse patient population with both floor-level and high-acuity needs. Ideal candidates will have stepdown/PCU experience and proficiency in handling complex neurosurgical conditions.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• Perform Q1 neuro checks, manage EVDs, lumbar and subdural drains
• Administer 3% NS and Cardene drips
• Utilize arterial lines, support carotid endarterectomy and aneurysm coiling/clips procedures
• Assist with DBS Insertion, VP shunts, and seizure management
• Ensure effective hemodynamic and neurological monitoring

Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• MUST HAVE stepdown/PCU experience
• RN License (NY License ONLY)
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Two (2) years of high acuity stroke and neurosurgery experience
• Telemetry experience required
• NIHSS Certification
• ACLS highly desired
