DevSecOps Product Engineer

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline, along with 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in Information Systems Security or DevSecOps.
• We need hands-on experience delivering DevSecOps implementations with Jenkins, GitLab, or comparable automation platforms.
• We expect proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, and/or AWS CloudFormation Templates.
• We value substantial experience developing, testing, and maintaining containerized applications in complex environments.
• We require working knowledge of source control, build and release tooling, and modern CI/CD practices.
• We look for a strong security-oriented mindset paired with an understanding of the software build process.
• We want proven enthusiasm for designing and sustaining automated pipelines for multiple product teams.
• We prefer CISSP certification.
• We prefer experience in the enterprise Level Up environment or similar government software factory settings.
• We prefer a strong understanding of security requirements in high-security sponsor environments.
• We require an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI.
• We require the ability to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.
• We require the ability to occasionally move within the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, and similar resources.
• We require the ability to communicate frequently with coworkers, management, and customers, including delivering presentations.
• We require the ability to exchange accurate information in these interactions.

• We develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, and/or AWS CloudFormation Templates.
• We onboard new products into Level Up CI/CD pipelines while partnering directly with product development teams.
• We maintain deep technical understanding of both the supported products and the underlying enterprise platform.
• We work closely with platform teams to help product teams integrate and deploy their software successfully.
• We build and maintain resilient CI/CD pipelines for multiple product teams to improve the software delivery lifecycle.
• We develop, test, and maintain containerized applications to support consistency across environments.
• We apply a security-first approach throughout the build and release process to help protect mission-critical data.
• We document pipeline configurations and deployment workflows to support transparency and knowledge sharing across the enterprise.
