Cardiac Anesthesiology Physician - Saint Luke's - Kansas City, MO

Position: Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist (Cardiac Anesthesiology) – full‑time CVOR position in the Mid America Heart Institute. Responsibilities Perform cardiac anesthesia for operations including heart transplants, liver transplants, LVAD implantation, aortic reconstruction, TAVR, structural heart, CABG, valves, esophageal surgery, and complex thoracic and major vascular cases. Serve in the CVOR arena at the freestanding Mid America Heart Institute, an accredited cardiovascular center. Engage in clinical work exclusively within the CVOR setting. Opportunity to participate in research with the Outcomes/Research Division of MAHI. Collaborate with the anesthesia residency program (8 residents per year) that includes senior resident rotation through CV surgery. Qualifications Recent experience in cardiac anesthesia. Completed or in process of a cardiothoracic anesthesiology fellowship. TEE board‑eligible or board‑certified.
