Corporate Associate Attorney (3+ yrs) - Am Law 200 Firm

Our client, a national Am Law 200 firm, is seeking an associate to join its Corporate and Securities practice in Chicago. The group advises private and public companies of all sizes on a broad range of corporate and securities matters. Highlights: Named as a Best Law Firm in the Midwest by Vault Firm provides associates with strong mentorship and preparation for partnership Collaborative and social firm atmosphere Responsibilities: Guide clients through a range of corporate and securities matters, including the acquisition and disposition of stocks and assets Advise clients on corporate governance matters, including board and shareholder actions related to transactions Counsel clients on securities law compliance and regulatory requirements applicable to their transactions and ongoing operations Required Qualifications: 3+ years representing buyers, sellers, PE firms, or investors in M&A, divestiture, joint venture, or securities transactions Proven ability to lead due diligence, draft and negotiate transaction documents, and manage deal processes from initiation through closing Working knowledge of corporate governance matters and securities law/regulatory compliance counseling Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid) Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $215,000 - $290,000.
