PACU Registered Nurse - Asheville, NC

Location: Asheville, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced PACU Registered Nurse to join our team in Asheville, NC. This role requires proficiency in trauma and pediatric care, along with advanced skills in ventilator monitoring. The ideal candidate will help provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic post-anesthesia care unit.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia.
• Monitor patient vitals and manage ventilator settings.
• Perform catheterizations and draw labs as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
• NIH Stroke Scale experience is required.
• Trauma and pediatric experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work within peri-anesthesia settings (Endoscopy/PreOp/Phase II).
