Senior Project Accountant

Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with a strong background in the construction industry?

We're partnering with a growing construction/utilities company, looking for a Senior Project Accountant to join their team! In this role, you will be the accounting backbone for major construction projects, partnering closely with Project Managers and leadership to ensure financial accuracy, up-to-date Work-in-Progress (WIP) tracking, and seamless project execution.

\n

\n

**Please note, this role requires on-site presence, 5 days/week in Phoenix, AZ.

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Job cost tracking for projects
\n
• Job setup, control, maintenance, coding, etc.
\n
• Month-end close support (accruals, revenue recognition, journal entries)
\n
• Work-in-Progress (WIP) and Percentage-of-Completion (POC)
\n
• Manage division results, providing #'s for the private-equity firm
\n
• Other duties as needed/assigned
\n

Looking for:

\n

\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
\n
• CPA preferred
\n
• 3+ years of accounting experience required
\n
• Prior experience in industrial and/or commercial construction required
\n
