Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid California teaching credential in one or more of the following: Mild/Moderate Disabilities, Moderate/Severe Disabilities, or Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE)
• Experience teaching students with diverse learning needs and adapting instruction accordingly
• Strong understanding of IEP processes, compliance, and documentation
• Commitment to inclusive education and collaborative approaches with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Flexibility to work across various school settings and grade levels as needed
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and support across PK-12 based on individual student IEPs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
• Foster positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environments
• Regularly communicate student progress with families and staff
• Participate in professional development and ongoing training opportunities
• Assist with transition planning and other student-centered initiatives as needed
