Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for an outpatient therapy position requiring Epic EMR proficiency and an IL PT license.

Job Details

• Outpatient therapy setting,
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, no weekend or holiday shifts,
• 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day,
• Treats patients of all ages across orthopedic and neurologic conditions,
• Utilizes Epic for daily documentation and charting,
• Performs therapeutic modalities including ultrasound, interferential, and iontophoresis,
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible,

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant physical therapy experience,
• At least a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required,
• Valid IL PT license required (if applicable),
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required,
• Epic EMR experience required,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient evaluation, plan of care development, and treatment across orthopedic and neurologic diagnoses,
• Duties include objective testing for range of motion, strength, and functional task performance, as well as therapeutic taping,
• Communicates with referring providers regarding patient progress and treatment recommendations,
• Educates patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare providers using appropriate teaching methods,
• Supervises and monitors support personnel in accordance with legal and ethical standards,
• Candidates who have been on assignment with this health system for 1 continuous year must take a 6-month break before returning,
• RTO not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract,
• Interviews are conducted by facility leadership prior to selection
