Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Welder/Fabricator Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 23.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst ShiftRead and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble metal components.Perform FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and welding techniques to join various metals in accordance with industry standards such as ASME codes & standards.Utilize hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble structural components.Measure materials precisely using measuring tools; perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate fabrication dimensions.Welder/Fabricator Qualifications:Hands-on experience with FCAW welding processes; certification is a plus but not mandatory.Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings essential for precise fabrication work.Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations involved in fabrication tasks.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
