Positions and Compensation Shift in Arlington – G‑tube kiddo that goes to school, 40hours a week, Monday‑Friday – Pay: RN $33–$35 per hour; LVN $26 per hour. G/T/V kiddo in Arlington that goes to school, 7a–4p, Monday‑Friday – Pay: RN $38 per hour; LVN $27 per hour. Responsibilities Provide high‑quality, in‑home nursing care to pediatric patients, adhering to Family First policies, state Nurse Practice Acts, and all applicable regulations. Perform admission, transfer, re‑certification, resumption of care and discharge paperwork; maintain updated clinical records on each patient. Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing services on an ongoing basis; conduct nursing assessments, including physical, functional, psychosocial, and cognitive status of the patient. Consult with physicians concerning alterations of patient care plans and report all changes to the nurse supervisor. Supervise LPNs and aides in the home as assigned and mentor new employees during patient‑specific orientations. Educate patients and their caregivers on topics related to patients’ care needs; assess the home environment for safety and infection control. Participate in the FFHC Quality Assurance Performance Improvement program and attend all mandatory training and in‑services. Submit required personnel file documentation in a timely manner; maintain confidentiality of patient and family information. Maintain professional, supportive, and responsive interpersonal communication skills. Participate in committees and meetings as requested and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) degree. Unencumbered RN license in the state of employment or a multi‑state license through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact. At least one year of demonstrated experience in qualified nursing practice. Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance in applicable states. Clear background screening and required health screenings (HepB, TB, CPR, etc.). Knowledge of state Nurse Practice Acts. Valid and current CPR certificate that includes in‑person instructor‑led hands‑on skills check. Competencies Ability to read and communicate in English both verbally and in writing. Working Conditions Work is performed in the patient’s home; standard work environment with no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions. Must be able to lift up to 35pounds without an assisted lifting device. Frequent use of office machines (telephone, computer, printer). The full salary range reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and allows for progression as employees grow within the role. Some roles include a compensation plan that may include a bonus at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan. Work Schedule The schedule may include varying shift lengths (8, 10 or 12 hours) and may require availability on any day of the week, Sunday through Saturday. Travel to patients’ homes is required.
