Pharmacy Program Manager

Pharmacy Program Manager We are seeking an experienced program manager with deep pharmacy knowledge and extensive leadership experience in Medicare Part B or Medicare Part D programs. The role leads an integrated team of payment policy specialists, clinical reviewers, statisticians, and data analysts to achieve CMS goals related to these programs. Key responsibilities include directing policy analysis, validating advanced analyses, and supervising clinical reviews to identify and evaluate program enhancements and innovative solutions that improve the Medicare program. Qualifications 15+ years of experience in pharmacy roles 7+ years in Medicare Part B and D programs Experience working with CMS data or health claims data, including Medicare and Medicaid, in the Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) environment Facilitated large meetings with internal and external audiences, managing integrated teams and subcontractors with full oversight of contract budgets and delivery risks Experience with the federal procurement and proposal process Identifying, reporting, and mitigating contract, budget, or delivery risks proactively Collaboration with government payer programs, including Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Knowledge of Medicare Advantage encounter data and Prescription Drug Event (PDE) data Ability to deliver technical recommendations to a wide range of stakeholders using various delivery techniques Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy Preferred Qualifications Experience with pharmaceutical benefit management organizations Experience presenting technical reports and findings to senior-level leaders and working with stakeholders such as pharmacists, clinicians, suppliers, and regulatory bodies Clinical pharmacist experience Knowledge of healthcare technology systems related to pharmacy (e.g., EHR, pharmacy information systems, medication administration software) Knowledge of analytic programming languages including R, Python, SAS, or SQL Knowledge of pharmaceutical care processes and pharmacy regulatory environments Published research in peer-reviewed journals Doctorate degree in Economics, Statistics, Pharmacy, or related field Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), or Pharmacy Certification Compensation The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000 to $225,000 annually (USD).
