Just is the AI-driven personal auto insurance company built for cost-conscious and low-mileage drivers. We use behavioral data, telematics, and machine learning to price more accurately, helping drivers get coverage that better reflects how they actually drive. 

We primarily serve the non-standard auto insurance market through independent agents, digital agencies, and strategic partners. We offer both a Pay-Per-Mile product and a more traditional Unlimited Miles product. Our goal is to build a smarter, more affordable, and more profitable personal auto insurance platform for a large and underserved segment of drivers. 

About the Role

Just is looking for a driven, high-performing Territory Sales Manager to own day-to-day management of the Nevada territory. You will be the face of our brand, responsible for recruiting and onboarding new independent agencies, cultivating existing agency relationships, and driving sales and premium growth.

You will act as the bridge between the local market and the Just executive and product teams, providing critical intelligence on competitor movements, agency needs, and customer feedback. 

This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. Based in the Las Vegas area and able to travel regularly throughout Nevada, including periodic overnight travel. 

Key Responsibilities

1. Agency Recruitment & Sales Growth

• Identify, prospect, and facilitate appointments of new independent agencies throughout Nevada
• Build and work an independently sourced pipeline of target agencies through self-directed outreach, in-person drop-ins, and referrals
• Drive monthly and quarterly sales targets by motivating agency producers to quote and bind Just policies
• Develop territory business plans to maximize penetration of Just policy sales

2. Relationship Management & Training

• Conduct regular agency visits to maintain strong relationships with agency owners and producers
• Facilitate hands-on training sessions regarding Just, including our underwriting guidelines, tech platform/portal, target audiences, and value proposition
• Act as a consultative partner, helping agencies troubleshoot issues and optimize their workflow with our available tools
• Represent Just at local industry events and trade shows

3. Market Intelligence & Feedback Loop

• Serve as the eyes and ears on the ground; Gather market intelligence on competitor positioning, product trends, and agency feedback through publicly available and appropriate channels
• Analyze why agencies are buying—or not buying; collect data on their tools, processes, and pain points, and report this back to our product and marketing teams to help refine our offering

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in P&C insurance sales, specifically in a territory management or agency marketing capacity
• Industry Niche: Deep understanding of the non-standard auto market in Nevada
• Network: Existing relationships with independent agents in Nevada, particularly Las Vegas
• Self-Direction: Proven ability to generate pipeline and sustain prospecting activity; self-manages weekly planning, territory coverage, and activity targets in a fully remote organization - balancing field time with remote administrative work
• Adaptability and organization: Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment, building practical processes, and operating effectively as systems and resources evolve
• Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills; able to influence while creating goodwill and nurture agencies that need help understanding the nuances of our product and how to assess the “right” customer fit
• Licensing: Active NV P&C producer license is required
• Other: Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
