Nurse Practitioner

Gastro Center of Maryland is a 18 provider GI group practice which is seeking to add a great Nurse Practitioner to the team. The successful candidate would split their time between several locations in or close to Montgomery County. After two years of working with the group they would have the opportunity to practice independently. Salary and Benefits Highly competitive salary Monday to Friday with no on call, no weekends, and no hospital rounding Paid time off (PTO) Paid CME Job Description The APP will work with the physicians to: Assess patients independently and in collaboration with GI physician Perform history and physical assessment Order labs, interpret lab, order imaging, and follow up on all results Prescribe medications and manage medications specific to patient needs Create a plan of care utilizing care guidelines Qualifications Approved Maryland State Medical License, Board Certification, Maryland CDS, and DEA certificate Prefer one year of Gastroenterology and/or outpatient practice Prefer bilingual candidates (in Spanish or Chinese) #J-18808-Ljbffr Gastro Center of Maryland
