About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years RN experience; 1 year in specialty experience License: West Virginia or Compact RN License required; pending license accepted for submission Certifications: BLS/BCLS; ACLS required Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of RN experience required - Required certifications must be listed on the application at the time of submission - Must be willing to float within the scope if needed - Must include guaranteed hours in application/profile Description: This position involves providing care to patients on a medical/surgical/telemetry unit. The unit accommodates 32 beds and treats a variety of medical conditions, including cardiac, vascular, surgical, and pulmonary issues. Registered Nurses must demonstrate strong clinical skills and work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team. Weekend shifts are required on an every-other-weekend basis. Candidates must be comfortable with a fast-paced environment. Documentation should be completed using the specified electronic health record system. All personnel are required to receive the flu vaccination unless a medical exemption is documented. Previous charge experience is beneficial but not mandatory. Candidates should have a strong focus on patient care and safety. References from two managers or charge nurses within the past two years are required. Applicants must have a permanent address outside a specified radius from the facility.
