Polar Ridge, a Lifespark Senior Living Community is looking for a Culinary Assistant/Server to join our growing team!  

Polar Ridge Senior Living is a beautiful community located in North St Paul, MN right off highway 36, near the giant snow man and North High School. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our gorgeous 114-unit, apartment style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living and Memory Care services.  Polar Ridge Senior Living is a growing community with a fun, passionate, and caring team who assists our residents Age Magnificently.  Join our team today!   

Position: Culinary Assistant/Server

Hourly: $15.50 - $20.50 hourly, depending on experience

Service Area: 2365 Helen Street North, St. Paul, MN 55109

Schedule: Part-time PM, 4pm-730pm or full-time 9am-530pm/11am-7pm

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, distribution and supply of food and dishes to residents, families, and staff while creating an environment that promotes resident/resident well-being.  Duties include:

• Set up room trays and tables in dining room, serve and bus trays, pour and cover beverages, and assist in preparing and covering food.
• Transport carts to appropriate areas and deliver trays, when applicable.
• Deliver nourishments and snacks appropriately.
• Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean kitchen utensils and dishes.
• Soak, scrub, scrape and wash soiled dishes.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
• Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
• Must possess advanced computer skills.
