Internship - Paid; Temporary
This position is for current Bobcat Rise students only. Essential functions, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, include the responsibilities, knowledge, skills, and other characteristics listed below. Summary: Under general supervision of the Hays County Treasurer, the intern will assist the Treasurer's office with duties as assigned. The intern must maintain a standard of confidentiality and professionalism. This position currently serves under the discretion of the elected official.
Responsibilities:
- Shreds daily documents within the treasurer's office as needed
- Assists in sealing all outgoing checks in preparation for distribution
- Performs light filing of deposit warrants and any other filing
- Prepares shred lists for purging 2026
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience: Graduation from high school or GED. Enrolled in Bobcat Rise Program through Texas State University.
