Job Description
- Supervise and support QC inspectors, ensuring consistent and accurate inspection processes
- Perform hands-on inspections (incoming, in-process, and final) as needed
- Prepare and review First Article Inspection (FAI) reports
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9000 standards and applicable MIL-STD requirements
- Lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and drive root cause analysis initiatives
- Coordinate with vendors to address quality issues and improve supplier performance
- Oversee final product testing and required documentation for customer delivery
- Continuously improve inspection processes, documentation, and workflows
- Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, and operations teams

The Successful Applicant
- 3+ years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on inspection experience across incoming, in-process, and final stages
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9000; familiarity with MIL standards preferred
- Experience preparing and reviewing FAI reports and technical documentation
- Proven ability to lead root cause analysis and corrective actions (CAPA)
- Prior experience supervising or leading inspectors or small teams preferred
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Strong understanding of inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and strong problem-solving mindset
