Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – PCU / Stepdown (Travel)

Location

Natchez, MS | Progressive Care Unit / Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Stepdown unit setting
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding to changes in clinical status
• Maintain a patient ratio of 5:1, delivering safe and effective nursing care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient treatment plans
• Adhere to facility dress code requirements, including royal blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the state of Mississippi or compact eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of PCU / Stepdown or related nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required (may be obtained within the first 3 weeks of assignment start)
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or Stepdown environment
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems used in acute care settings
• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills in an intermediate care setting
