Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced life support (ALS) care in emergency situations
- Assess, treat, and stabilize patients in accordance with state protocols
- Safely transport patients to hospitals and healthcare facilities
- Complete accurate and timely electronic patient care reports (ePCR)
- Operate and maintain ambulance equipment and supplies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, hospitals, and team members
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and patient care
- Current Paramedic certification (Virginia or eligible for reciprocity)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Current BLS, ACLS certifications (PALS preferred)
- Strong clinical and decision-making skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- 1–3+ years of field experience
- Familiarity with ePCR systems (ESO)
- Fast-paced EMS setting
- Supportive leadership and team-oriented culture
- Pay: $32 – $38 per hour (based on experience)
