Senior Business Analyst

Location : Tennessee (Candidate must be a Tennessee State Resident) Schedule : Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Regular Shift) Position Summary : The Business Unit Analyst will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and the HRTS development team, responsible for gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements. This role will support enhancements and maintenance of the Hospital Reporting Tracking System (HRTS)** by translating business needs into actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and development tasks using **Azure DevOps**. The analyst will collaborate with hospitals, technical teams, and business partners to support the integration of **US SAFR with HRTS**, ensuring successful implementation, data exchange, testing, and operational compliance. Key Responsibilities : Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements. Create and manage user stories, tasks, and acceptance criteria in **Azure DevOps**. Collaborate with stakeholders to define priorities, enhancements, and system improvements. Work closely with developers, QA teams, and project managers to ensure successful delivery. Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate system functionality. Support hospital integrations and implementation activities for **US SAFR and HRTS**. Document business processes, workflows, system changes, and operational procedures. Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and recommend process improvements. Track project status, risks, dependencies, and communicate updates to stakeholders. Promote continuous improvement of healthcare reporting processes and system functionality. Required / Preferred Qualifications : Experience gathering and documenting **business and functional requirements. Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation**. Working knowledge of **Azure DevOps or Agile project management tools**. Experience with **healthcare information systems, hospital workflows, or health IT integrations**. Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with business users, technical teams, and healthcare stakeholders.
