Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for adult medical-surgical patients on an inpatient unit
• Monitor patients’ clinical status, interpret assessment data, and respond to changes promptly
• Administer medications and IV therapies, and manage devices according to physician orders
• Document patient care and progress in EPIC and Cerner, ensuring accurate and complete charting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust the patient plan of care
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care

Requirements

• Active registered nursing license in California
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Documented experience with EPIC and Cerner electronic health records
• Med Surg RN experience
• Must start on 06/29/2026 and be able to work 3x12 night shifts
• Ability to work in a fast-paced short-term acute care setting
