Role Overview

Apply epidemiology and real-world data expertise to evaluate commercial drugs and drug-development programs, with a focus on building and assessing patient-population estimates for specific drugs and indications.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and critique evaluation rubrics for commercial drugs and drug-development programs.
• Size patient populations using prevalence, incidence, and diagnosed, treated, and addressable patient funnels.
• Assess whether patient-population estimates are well sourced and methodologically sound, identifying potential overcounting or undercounting.
• Apply this analysis across a set of drugs and indications.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of epidemiology practice and a graduate degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, or public health.
• Experience with biotech or pharmaceutical development programs.
• Experience translating real-world data, including claims, EHR data, and registries, into patient funnels.

Work Terms

• Remote hourly engagement for candidates based in the United States or with deep US-market experience.
• Expected commitment is approximately 10 to 20 hours over one to two weeks.

Compensation

• $150 to $175 per hour.

• US-based epidemiology expertise is required.
