Overview American Traveler is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Augusta, Georgia. Responsibilities Interventional Radiology unit in an acute care hospital setting Adult to geriatric patient population Average daily census of 8 patients EMR systems include Epic, Pyxis, and PACS Day shift, 5x8 hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Every other weekend required 10 days of call required per month Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed Assignment Details Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 07/20/2026 Duration: 16 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology Tech experience Active BLS certification required License required if applicable Two supervisory references (manager level or above; charge nurse references not accepted) are highly preferred Additional Information First-time travelers are accepted for this position Local candidates are accepted Scrubs are provided by the facility RTO maximum of 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment RTO blackout dates apply during Spring Break (April 4–12) If one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work those holidays and no holiday RTO can be requested; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work two of them and one holiday RTO request may be reviewed for approval Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year\'s Eve/New Year\'s Day Travelers must have been away from all facilities in this health system for a full year before returning as a traveler No scheduling requests or alternate shift requests are permitted; the listed shift is firm Full compliance is required to start on time American Traveler Job ID #P-726124.
