Family Nurse Practitioner

Family Nurse PractitionerAn established outpatient healthcare organization is seeking a Nurse Practitioner, with preference for a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), to provide comprehensive primary care services for a university student population ranging approximately from ages 16 to 80. This position offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality, relationship-focused care while working collaboratively with physicians and an interdisciplinary clinical team.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive primary care services for patients across a diverse adult and adolescent population.Perform wellness, preventive, and other routine health examinations.Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions using evidence-based clinical guidelines.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans under established physician protocols.Deliver preventive care, health screenings, and disease prevention initiatives.Evaluate and treat common illnesses and injuries.Consult with supervising physicians and medical leadership regarding patient care as appropriate.Provide patient education, health coaching, and wellness counseling.Order, interpret, and review diagnostic testing.Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans when clinically appropriate.Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare providers when needed.Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).Support daily clinic operations and assist with additional clinical responsibilities as needed.Required QualificationsBoard-Certified Nurse Practitioner with an active state license.Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) strongly preferred.Minimum of one year of experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, or another outpatient primary care setting.Current BLS certification.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.Commitment to ethical, patient-centered, evidence-based practice.Preferred QualificationsActive DEA registration.Experience with college health, occupational health, or employee wellness programs.Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.Key Skills RequiredPrimary Care Clinical ManagementPatient Assessment & Clinical Decision-MakingAcute & Chronic Disease ManagementPreventive Care & Wellness CounselingDiagnostic Test InterpretationEMR DocumentationPatient Education & Health AdvocacyInterdisciplinary CollaborationWork ScheduleFull-timeMonday-Friday8:30 AM-5:15 PMFixed schedule (not flexible)Why This Location?
