Production Control Supervisor

Production Activity Control Assistant• Assist in production activity control to meet business and financial objectives.• Prioritize incoming orders by reviewing the dispatch list.• Maintain production schedule to create consistent sales throughout the workweek.• Review production plans to identify and report potential risks.• Partner with Production Management to determine and plan department overtime, manage production task, schedules, expedites, and improve standard lead time.• Assist Managers in controlling production costs while maintaining the quality standards.• Monitor and review all standard lead time or internal and external delivery expectations.• Directly partner with Customer Service to ensure customer communication is consistent and accurate.• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on company objectives, production strategies and support activities.• Lead production schedule meetings with the facility production team to discuss overstandard lead time, rework, expedites, and other jobs as needed.• Coordinate with department operators in resolving production planning and control issues.• Prepare and analyze the daily sales forecast.• Communicate with department operators to understand department approvals, restrictions, and bottlenecks to better determine job schedule and ensure continuous operations.• Work closely with production managers to monitor labor cost based on daily sales.• Vocalize support needs from production and other site leadership.• Manage contract review process and personnel.• Perform other related duties as assigned.QualificationsEducation: High School or better.Experience: 2 years: Manufacturing
