Job Title: Endoscopy Tech Profession: Endoscopy Tech Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days, 4x10 Hours per Shift: 06:30-17:00 Experience: 1 year in Endovascular Tech License: Preferred ARRT or RCIS Certifications: Required BLS from AHA only Must-Have Skills/Experience: 1 year of Endovascular Tech experience Surgical Scrub experience Description: Position involves performing direct patient care activities for all age groups. Tasks include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments. It is essential to evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers. Maintains professional accountability and patient rights, while ensuring confidentiality. Utilizes the nursing process to improve patient comfort and care quality. Works within established guidelines of nursing practice. Shows demonstrated skill in human relations and communication. Must have clinical expertise in the area of responsibility. Physical demands include standing and walking most of the time. May require lifting and pushing patients on stretchers and in wheelchairs. Generally works in a clean, air-conditioned area. Physical requirements include pushing, pulling, and gripping up to 50 lbs and pinching up to 15 lbs. Some kneeling, crouching, and crawling may be necessary.
