Job Title: Housing Compliance Coordinator
Pay: $50,000 per year
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP

In this role, you'll conduct audits, monitor regulatory compliance, and collaborate with internal teams to promote quality assurance and operational excellence across Public Housing, Housing Choice Voucher, and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit programs.


What You'll Do

As a Housing Compliance Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

• Conduct audits of participant files, financial records, and program processes to ensure compliance with HUD, PH, HCV, and LIHTC regulations while identifying risks and recommending corrective actions.
• Monitor regulatory changes, interpret program requirements, and support the implementation of compliant policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Maintain accurate audit documentation, prepare compliance reports, and evaluate workflows to improve data integrity, operational efficiency, and quality assurance.
• Serve as a compliance resource by advising internal teams on complex cases, policy interpretation, and regulatory requirements while supporting training and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate across departments to strengthen compliance programs, optimize processes, and promote consistent, high-quality program administration.

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field preferred (equivalent education and experience considered).
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in affordable housing compliance, occupancy, property management, housing program administration, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of HUD, PH, HCV, and LIHTC regulations with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to conduct detailed audits, interpret regulations, develop compliance solutions, and support training and continuous process improvement.
• Required Skill: Quality Assurance
