RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage inventory accounting and cost accounting activities, including reconciliations, month-end close support, and variance analysis.
• Analyze inventory and manufacturing costs, identify trends and key cost drivers, and recommend opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and standard costing systems through cycle count reviews, physical inventories, and production data validation.
• Lead and participate in physical inventory counts and inventory reconciliations.
• Support budgeting process and ensure data accuracy within ERP.
• Evaluate internal controls and costing processes, implementing improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and financial reporting.
• Partner with operations and manufacturing teams to support business performance, profitability, and operational effectiveness.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of standard, weighted average, and actual cost accounting methodologies.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities with a focus on actionable results.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and build strong working relationships.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with a fully integrated ERP system.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with reporting and business intelligence tools preferred.
• Ability to travel quarterly to plant locations.
