Overview Southwest Idaho ENT is seeking an extern in Boise, Idaho to work under the supervision of our CCC-A audiologists. The extern will see patients across a lifespan and gain hands‑on experience with a variety of audiologic services. Responsibilities Patient counseling and education Adult and pediatric diagnostic audiology (VRA, OAE, CPA) Auditory brainstem response testing (ABRs) Adult and pediatric hearing‑aid dispensing and fitting Bone‑anchored hearing‑aid management Vestibular evaluation and treatment including VNG, VEMP, vHIT and posturography Tinnitus assessment and management Hearing conservation activities Qualifications & Expectations Basic audiologic testing and interpretation abilities Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team Capacity for problem‑solving and independent decision making Commitment to providing thorough patient education and adhering to patient‑rights protocols Logistics Primary practice setting: ENT group practice Start date: May/June 2027 Expected hours: 40 hours per week Vacation days: 7 days Travel to satellite centers: Not required Benefits: Health insurance, holidays, one week paid time off Travel compensation for interview: No Continuing education: Yes (online or conference) Application Deadline 9/11/2026 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Academy of Audiology
