Requisition Number: 28521 Required Travel: 0 - 10% Employment Type: Full Time / Salaried / Exempt Anticipated Salary Range: $65,592.00 - $95,000.00 Security Clearance: Secret Level of Experience: Mid Job Description The Navy Integrated Training Environment (NITE) Network Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and cybersecurity defense of all Navy Enterprise Tactical Training Network (NETTN) client and server infrastructure used to support enterprise-wide modeling and simulation applications and services for the NITE. The candidate will work in close coordination with other team members and departments to update, monitor and maintain servers and workstations throughout the enterprise. Additional duties include Microsoft Windows server administration, managing GPOs, creating and modifying DHCP reservations, patching, and configuring systems in compliance with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). The individual must be able to work independently while also functioning effectively within a team. Responsibilities include maintaining smooth operation of multi‑user computer systems, coordinating with network administrators, setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system‑wide software, allocating mass storage space, interacting with users, evaluating vendor products, making purchase recommendations, coordinating installation and providing backup recovery, and developing and monitoring policies and standards related to the use of computing resources. Minimum Qualifications 3 years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 1 year relevant experience with a Master’s degree in a related field; or high school diploma or equivalent with 7 years relevant experience. Experience with VMware Familiarity with VDI technologies and protocols Strong technical troubleshooting skills Ability to read and digest technical information Strong attention to detail Strong customer focus and ability to manage multiple work priorities Excellent oral and written communication skills Security+ or equivalent certification Must currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance Preferred Requirements Experience with Microsoft WSUS or SCCM Experience with Windows Server 2019/2022 Experience digesting and implementing DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) Experience with patching Microsoft servers and workstations Strong customer focus and ability to manage multiple work priorities Physical Requirements Adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of the Systems Analyst discipline.
