As a Security Officer Licensed Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Bronx, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government transit location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support riders and staff through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of stations, platforms, entrances, waiting areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points, public areas, and/or restricted locations for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate findings according to post procedures.
• Assist with crowd management, directions, and general information requests while supporting orderly operations during routine activity, service disruptions, and/or special events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
