Credentialing Lead Specialist

Primary Responsibilities:

• The Credentialing Lead Specialist initiates/coordinates daily credentialing activities for Kelsey-Seybold Clinic physicians/allied health professionals to meet clinic policies and state/accreditation regulations
• Lead Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for coordinating Credentialing Committee, Medical Staff new hire credentialing meetings, hospital privileges, liaison between Physician Services/staff and recommend credentialing processes

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience with focus in credentialing
• 4+ years of credentialing experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Access, Word and Excel
• Knowledge of AAAHC, NCQA and TDI. Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent customer service
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
• Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
• Capable of sitting for extended periods of time

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification, College Degree
• Managed care/hospital credentialing
• MD-Staff - ability to create/produce credentialing reports
• Current and Valid Texas Driving License

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $20.38 to $36.44 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
