Primary Care Physician (30115)

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a primary care physician to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan, a full-service community hospital in New York, NY. The hospital provides culturally sensitive care to patients from all five boroughs in a modern environment, maintaining a strong academic affiliation with New York Medical College. Opportunity Details Examine patients, order and perform diagnostic tests, and formulate diagnoses in an outpatient setting. Give guidance and directions to the house staff and other members of the healthcare team. Provide guidance and participate in the teaching of house staff, in staff conferences, and in research projects as directed. Assist in the administration and coordination of the service. Qualifications Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Active New York State medical license. Active DEA license. Compensation Annual base salary: $236,000 (board eligible) or $241,000 (board certified) based on a 40‑hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. Estimated total annual compensation: $315,120 (board eligible) or $320,620 (board certified). Estimated compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours per week: $55,520. Projected bonus of up to $40,000, contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets. 401(k) company contribution: 3% immediately vested; additional 7% after one year of service.
