About the Role

\n

The Associate Technical Consultant is an entry-level role within COSOL's Americas Professional Services team, reporting to the Program Director. It is designed for someone early in their career who learns quickly, adapts readily to new technology, and seeks broad technical exposure rather than early specialization.

\n

\n

This Denver-based position combines client-facing data migration delivery with the build and maintenance of COSOL's own software. You will work directly alongside our Program Director and a Principal Consultant, with a structured first year balanced across client delivery, product development, and building your Maximo capability. Year-one billable utilization is expected to be approximately 40%, with the balance allocated to product development and capability building. Existing Maximo experience is not required; product training is provided.

Within this role, you can expect your work to involve the following:

\n

\n
• Support enterprise data migration engagements — extracting, transforming, reconciling, and quality-checking client asset data using SQL and COSOL's migration tooling.
\n
• Build and maintain COSOL's internal AI-assisted delivery tooling.
\n
• Build and maintain COSOL's Maximo accelerator products, which extend client Maximo environments with web-based interfaces for kiosks, portals, and field data capture.
\n
• Perform technical work inside Maximo — automation scripts, integrations, reporting, and configuration — beginning in our sandbox environments and progressing to supervised client work.
\n
• Document delivered work to a standard that permits maintenance and extension by others.
\n
• Grow toward independent delivery and technical ownership over your first two years.
\n

Required Qualifications and Experience

\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience, and qualifications:

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or an equivalent practical background.
\n
• Working SQL, ideally SQL Server, including the ability to construct and optimize joins, diagnose queries returning incorrect results, and identify anomalous data.
\n
• Demonstrable ability to write and debug code in a modern programming language. Candidates should be prepared to present and discuss prior work.
\n
• Evidence of independently learning an unfamiliar technology and delivering working output with it.
\n
• Competence with AI-assisted development tools, including the judgment to verify generated output.
\n
• Clear written communication and documentation discipline.
\n
• Web application development, APIs and integration work, ETL or data migration exposure, or cloud platform experience are advantageous but not required.
\n
• No Maximo, Ellipse, or other EAM product experience is required. No prior consulting experience is required.
\n

Candidates complete a short technical exercise based on a realistic data problem, using tools of their choice, followed by a structured discussion of their approach. The assessment prioritizes problem-solving method over existing product knowledge.

Base salary range: The annual base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications.

\n

\n

This position is eligible for bonus and incentive compensation.

\n

\n
