About the Role:
Ryan's Smokehouse in Webster, TX is looking for a passionate and energetic Cook/Customer Service team member to join our crew! If you love great BBQ and even better people, this is the place for you. Come be a part of a team that takes pride in serving up delicious, smoky flavors with a smile every single day.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Ryan's Smokehouse recipes and quality standards
- Operate grills, smokers, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Take and process customer orders accurately, both in-person and over the phone
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in kitchen and front-of-house areas
- Restock food prep stations and monitor ingredient levels throughout the shift
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback with a positive attitude
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a kitchen, food service, or customer-facing role preferred
- Knowledge of BBQ cooking techniques and smoked meats is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-temperature kitchen environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- fluent in English.
