Medical Director (Addiction Medicine / Substance Use Disorder Treatment) St. Joseph, MO New Season Treatment Centers is a national leader in addiction treatment and recovery services, helping individuals overcome Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) through Medication‑Assisted Treatment (MAT), medical care, and behavioral health services. We are seeking a Medical Director (MD or DO) to provide medical oversight, physician leadership, and clinical support for our outpatient Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) in St. Joseph, Missouri. What You’ll Do Provide medical oversight for patient care and treatment services Conduct admission, annual, and follow‑up physical examinations Oversee Medication‑Assisted Treatment (MAT) and medication management Collaborate with nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and counselors Participate in treatment team meetings and quality improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with DEA, SAMHSA, HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, state, and federal regulations Provide physician leadership, staff training, and clinical guidance Support positive patient outcomes and long‑term recovery Qualifications Active Missouri Physician License (MD or DO) Active DEA Registration Medicare and Medicaid credentialing or eligibility Experience in Addiction Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, Behavioral Health, or Substance Use Disorder Treatment preferred Knowledge of Medication‑Assisted Treatment (MAT), Opioid Treatment Programs (OTP), and regulatory compliance Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills Why Join New Season?
