RN Registered Nurse

RN - OR Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent operating room experience in a community hospital or trauma level 2 facility. License: Valid California RN Licensure required. Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: 2 years of circulating experience in a community hospital setting. Experience to include General Surgery, Orthopedics, Spine, Urology, Robotics, OB/GYN (C-sections), Plastic Surgery. Conscious sedation experience required. Call requirement: overnights on weekdays, weekends x 24 hours each day, and holidays 24 hours per day. Description:Provides individualized nursing care based on knowledge of nursing competencies and pharmacology.Delivers care to geriatric, adult, and adolescent patients from admission through discharge.Requires knowledge of standards of care, nursing assessment parameters, and pharmacology, including doses, purpose, interactions, side effects, and reactions to medications.Must be comfortable with GI cases and willing to administer sedation.Will be on call and expected to handle cesarean sections.Requires collaboration with interdisciplinary support including therapy services and pharmacy.Ensures adherence to infection control standards and participates in safety protocols. #J-18808-Ljbffr
