Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Industrial Engineering Program Manager to lead and manage Industrial Engineering teams supporting multiple manufacturing facilities in the Appleton, WI area.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Industrial Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, Time Studies, Work Measurement, Line Balancing, Productivity Improvement, and Continuous Improvement within high-volume, high-mix manufacturing environments.

This role will be responsible for program governance, resource planning, stakeholder management, risk management, delivery execution, and driving measurable improvements in productivity, quality, cost, and cycle time.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Industrial Engineers supporting multiple manufacturing facilities.
• Oversee time studies, work measurement, line balancing, productivity improvement, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives .
• Serve as a key liaison between customer, onsite, and offshore teams.
• Drive project governance, resource planning, risk management, stakeholder communication, and executive reporting.
• Ensure delivery quality, schedule adherence, and successful implementation of process improvement recommendations.
• Support manufacturing transformation initiatives, including:
  • Assembly line consolidation
  • High-flow line implementation
  • Labor optimization
  • Automation and robotics
  • Material flow improvements
  • Digital manufacturing solutions
• Conduct video-based time studies and work breakdown activities.
• Perform line balancing studies using Yamazumi charts .
• Identify and implement opportunities for productivity and process improvements.
• Support multi-model line balancing and level loading initiatives.
• Analyze opportunities for labor reduction, route optimization, warehouse optimization, and inventory improvement.
• Develop and implement initiatives focused on improving quality, reducing cost, increasing productivity, and reducing cycle time.
• Develop SOPs, work instructions, and standardized operating methods to improve process consistency.
• Establish KPIs and track improvement initiatives to ensure sustainable results.
• Use data analytics to analyze manufacturing processes and develop dashboards and reports for decision-making.
• Identify project risks and roadblocks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and ensure alignment on project objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of operational excellence across manufacturing teams.
• Support identification and implementation of automation opportunities to improve productivity and reduce operating costs.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field .
• Experience in Automotive, Truck, Off-Highway, or similar manufacturing environments .
