Maintenance Superintendent

Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Superintendent to lead our maintenance and instrumentation operations in Sheldon, IA. If you’re looking to build a long-term career with a company that values teamwork and accountability, we’d love to talk with you.What You’ll DoAs Maintenance Superintendent, you’ll oversee daily maintenance operations while supporting a safe, organized, and productive facility.Lead and supervise daily maintenance department activities, including training, scheduling, work methods, and performance managementAssign and track work orders; ensure accurate documentation and timely completionInspect, maintain, and troubleshoot plant equipment to ensure reliable operationManage warehouse inventory, including purchase orders for parts and suppliesUtilize the INFOR system to enter, track, and update work orders and preventive maintenance schedulesParticipate on the Process Safety Management (PSM) Mechanical Integrity Team to promote safety and continuous improvementPrepare reports such as maintenance summaries, timesheets, and incident reportsCollaborate with operations and other departments to support plant goalsAttend company meetings and perform other duties as assignedWhat We’re Looking ForEducation:Technical school or college degree preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredExperience:2+ years of maintenance and supervisory experience preferredSoy processing or similar industrial processing experience is a plusTechnical Skills:Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical principlesAbility to operate industrial machinery, hand tools, and power toolsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; AutoCAD experience preferredLeadership & Work Style:Proven ability to train, coach, and motivate employeesStrong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skillsEffective communicator with a professional, respectful approachTeam-oriented and comfortable working with diverse groupsFlexible and able to prioritize multiple urgent requestsWhy Join Us?Stable, local opportunity in Sheldon, IALeadership role with real influence on plant performance and safetyFast-paced, positive work environmentOpportunity to grow your skills and career in an essential operationIf you’re a motivated maintenance leader who takes pride in developing people and keeping operations running smoothly, we encourage you to apply.AGP is a cooperatively-owned agribusiness engaged in procuring, processing, marketing, and transporting of oilseeds, grains, and related products.
